Selected Publications
My research explores Asian Anglophone and Asian American literatures, postcolonial theory, and the cultural histories of capitalism. I am the author of Becoming Global Asia: Contemporary Genres of Postcolonial Capitalism in Singapore, and I am currently at work on a second book project that extends these interests.
My articles have appeared in journals such as biography, Genre, and Verge, as well as edited collections like The Cambridge Companion to Literature and Economics and Singapore Literature and Culture: Current Directions in Local and Global Contexts.
